What it Means To Be A Democrat

The spirit of America being whole-heartedly egalitarian, Democrats take it a step farther. Democrats want every morsel of equality stated, stood for and supported. There is a profound passion in this mission and the Dems would almost lay down their lives for any and every injustice. This is touching. This is love. This is a mother bear’s protection of her cubs. This is a torch to hold high.
Democrats around the country have heart on the international front. You consider a war against one a war against all. There is no limit to the help to be offered in the name of humanity. You’ll look out for the little guy, you’ll look out for the little country. This is the basis of humanitarianism.
The planet and the environment are home to a Democrat. In a Democrat’s view we live in a sacred place of worth and wonder to fiercely guard and to let guide us as it does.
Messaging and sales pitch are the Democrat forte. This is where Republicans fail. At the moment, Democrats are not saying much about a mission, but a loss is an understandable time of sadness. When you draw yourselves together again, Dems will get back to communicating the traditional identity of good values. As long as Democratic leaders don’t muddy the message with ego and falsehood.
Democrats are in a very precarious position right now. It is curious that no viable leaders are presenting themselves or speaking with substance and promise. The best bet would be to fully support the stunning and good, logical success of the Republican party now and then produce new, thoughtful, thought-provoking democratic concepts on top of that to carve out your identity. And pitch them. Where Republicans are the executors, Democrats are the visionaries. If you can find a winning, humanitarian solution that is practical, you will survive.
