No, Democrats, you didn't screw up like you think

While there’s a lot of rage, there's a humility in so many Democrat leaders and commentators conceding to having screwed up in the Presidential election loss.  You say you  “didn’t listen to what the people wanted”.  There’s a sliver of truth in this, but this phrase never lands with me.  Listening was never the problem.  Looking was the problem.  The platform was the problem.

It would be accurate if you could concede that you didn’t look at the whole problem.  Or the whole of all the problems.  If Democrats were looking correctly , it wouldn’t matter if you weren’t “listening” to the little people.  The little people would be listening to you.  Trump’s success and solutions have nothing to do with whether he listens to people.  He is a problem solver.  The people listen.  The people took note.

Democrats have nice ideas and visions.  Democrats fail to look objectively at how to execute them.  Their propositions are short-sighted, problematic and extraordinarily expensive.  One day democrats will transform the party platform into one with comprehensively considered ideas and solutions.  But for now the solutions are terrible.  This is the problem.

We are also starting to hear that DEMS feel the problem is that they didn't recognize and isolate and directly market and target the demographics of the country. Trump won because he did none of this. He does not reduce people to being dwellings from certain neighborhoods with particular hues of skin color. All his solutions were directed for all Americans and he never sought to appease anyone by changing his outfit or tie or accent.

It didn’t help at all that the democrat leadership and the adjoined media were lying.  It didn’t help that the leadership exhibited terrible morals in prosecuting Trump for no reason and standing back to watch crimes and assassination attempts occur, essentially enabling horror.  It didn’t help at all that leaders were accepting bribes in the millions.  (Republicans do this, too.)  This tends to distort honesty.   Somehow, despite this consistent, dedicated, organized, sophisticated corruption, the little people saw through it.  The leaders were not Democrats, they were criminals.  The people took note.

If the Democratic leadership wasn’t so terrible, the real Democrats (the rest of the country) may have come up with solutions, instead of being wooed by lies.  For now, the Democrat ideology of giving freely to those in need must be anchored and substantiated in simple math.   Maybe, maybe, maybe there are effective, creative programs for this.   If you can find a way to do this without costing the country money, livelihood and freedom, then you have yourselves a party.  The people will take note.
